Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant has been providing support to Great Lakes Legacy Act communities for more than a decade through stakeholder needs assessments, communication plans, and outreach on contaminant remediation and habitat restoration. The Sea Grant mission is to share science with stakeholders and empower them to be a part of the problem-solving process. Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant works closely with the U. S. EPA's Great Lakes National Program Office in Chicago.
