The Urban Ecology Center offers unique urban sanctuaries and outdoor laboratories for neighborhood school children. The Neighborhood Environmental Education Project (NEEP) partners with schools for a 1 year term to arrange for visits to parks and stewardship opportunities in the area. Wisconsin Sea Grant is a statewide program of basic and applied research, education, and outreach dedicated to the stewardship of the Great Lakes. Much of the program's outreach staff works to train teachers, host educational displays and workshops, and provide access to Wisconsin's Water Library.
